Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons based on the applicable curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, experiments, assignments, and learning resources.
- Explain scientific concepts clearly using age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Organize suitable practical activities, demonstrations, and laboratory exercises where applicable.
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed during practical and laboratory activities.
- Assess student understanding through tests, assignments, projects, classwork, and other suitable methods.
- Monitor academic progress and maintain accurate student records.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and performance.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate assistance.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning abilities and classroom needs.
- Use educational technology and digital resources to enhance science learning.

- Collaborate with other teachers and academic staff on curriculum and student-development activities.

- Stay informed about effective science-teaching methods and relevant educational practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification or recognized teacher-training certification where applicable.
- Previous experience teaching science is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of science concepts relevant to the assigned grade level.
- Understanding of lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom-management techniques.
- Ability to conduct or supervise appropriate practical science activities safely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain scientific topics clearly and effectively.
- Comfortable using educational technology and digital learning resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- UAE teaching experience or familiarity with the UAE education environment is an advantage.
